Politics in the Philippines...

Posted on at

I can't help myself but feel bad with what is happening in our country now, the Philippines.  Corruption here, there and everywhere..  I cannot stop myself from saying that this country would go  nowhere if this has not to stop this early.

Politicians run for a public office to do what? Ah,  I guess everybody knows that most of these politicians are selfish and run for a public office to steal our public funds and strip us Filipinos with every single right to experience what life that is free of poverty means.

Palace now seeks for donations for  the family of #44Fallen SAF (44 Special Armed Forces men who died in a battle) while the President offered a $2 million  to the family of  Saudi King Abdullah.  What happened to our public funds? While the government can afford lush travels for it's high ranking government officials  and some for the much-debated PDAF and DAP funds, why can't  the government afford to give it's share to the bereaved families of the fallen SAF troopers whose  lives were dedicated to fight for this country's honor?

When they launched the operation to capture the FBI's most wanted  terrorists with a bounty of  a few million dollars on their heads, these high-ranking government officials  responsible for the  said  SAF  massacre,  denied doing that for the sake of money. There were no further reinforcements done by the government to help the pursuing SAF  troopers. Their lives were forsaken and  wasted by these  irresponsible leaders who think of nothing but pride for themselves. Shame on them!

Yes, the  cause of  all these misfortunes are the leadership of wrong people in the government. Their minds are corrupted with greed and nothing but selfishness. I am not saying they are all the same. But I guess, only 1 in 10 politicians can be considered  true and dedicated for the betterment of the Filipino people.

Yeah, I AM A PROUD FILIPINO but I AM NOT PROUD WITH MY GOVERNMENT.

Still, it's more fun in the Philippines and I love being  a Filipino. What more  if these corrupt officials would go to hell (if there is such place) and burn there? Surely, Philippines would be the best place to live in.
