Present Continuous Tense....
Definition...
In present continuous tense we represent incomplete sentence The work that is in progress is discussed in this tense.
Present continuous tense is also called present progressive tense.
Let's discuss the sentences of present continuous tense.

Imperative sentences...
In imperative sentences we use...
First form of verb with "ing" (e.g reading. looking, playing etc).
We use three helping verbs "is", "am" and "are".
We use "is" with first person and "are" with second person and "am" with "I".
Examples...
- Sara is going to school.
In this sentence ...
"Sara" is object.
"Is" is helping verb.
"going" is verb.
and school is object.
Here "Sara" is a singular name so we used "is" as helping verb.
Another example...
- You are playing hockey in the play ground.
In this sentence "You" is second person so we used "are" as helping verb.

Negative Sentences...
The negative sentences in present continuous us very simple.We use "not" after helping verb.
For example.
- Sara is not going to school.
- You are not playing hockey in the play ground.

Interrogative Sentences...
Making interrogative sentences is also very simple in present continuous tense. We simply write helping verb at the start of sentence i.e before subject and we put question mark (?) at the end.
For example.
- Is Sara going to school?
- Are you playing hockey in the play ground?

- They are enjoying music.
They are not enjoying music.
Are they enjoying music?
- We are sleeping.
We are not sleeping.
Are we sleeping?
- I am writing a blog.
