I was with a friend and her boyfriend who live together and they were telling me about how they have separate bedrooms. At first it seemed strange that you would move in together but still have different bedrooms but after hearing more about it I found it very interesting. Basically he can do whatever he wants in his room and clean it when he wants while she can keep her room the way she wants. They also can have the whole bed to themselves vs. sharing it. How GREAT?! The real reason they have two bedrooms is because they work very different hours so it helps to make sure both get enough sleep every night and don't annoy each other when one comes in/wakes up. I also think its great because you can still have your own space but have sleepovers whenever you want! Now, of course this wouldn't work for everyone but the fact is that everyone's relationships are different and if something works well for you so be it! What do you think about sleeping in a separate bedroom from your partner?
