Social have good effects as well as bad effects on humans, and human’s lives.

Social media is Good:

When we use social media effectively, it can have many benefits.

  • Very easy to keep in contact with people of similar interests
  • Very easy to contact potential new friends
  • It makes it simpler to get in touch with long-lost friends
  • One can post interesting things about yourself and your achievements online.

  • Not limited due to geography
  • Increased criminal prosecution
  • Social networking creates new social connections
  • Students are doing better in school
  • Social media is a source of employment
  • Reduce marketing costs
  • Increase sales
  • Increase traffic to a website
  • Increase customer engagement
  • Greater and easy access to international markets
  • Gives an opportunity for customer feedback

  • Facilitates open communication, leading to enhanced information discovery and delivery

Social media is Bad:

Social media also has negative effects on humans and human’s life.

  • Additional resources may be needed to manage an online presence.
  • It is immediate and needs daily monitoring
  • Risk of inappropriate behavior on your site
  • Risks of negative feedback, information leaks or hacking
  • Lacks a personal touch; inability to connect in-person
  • Lack of privacy (once posted, others have access to that information)
  • Open to security issues (hacking, viruses, etc.)
  • Requires constant commitment to maintain social media presence
  • Social media is the root of cyber bullying.
  • It easier to hurt someone without getting caught.
  • Social media is also a place where it is easy to spread false information
  • Social media is also a lurking place for predators.
  • social media serves to drive people (often friends and family members that live together) farther away from one another because of giving too much time to social media.
  • It can serve as a platform for inappropriate actions.
  • Less face-to-face communication
  • Opens up the possibility for hackers to commit fraud and launch spam and virus attacks.
