The last day of durga puja we called Dashami or Bijaya Dashami...and we wish each other calling subho bijaya...we celebrate bijaya dashami with sweets...like Shubho Bijoya means "The Auspicious Victory"....When Maa Durga destroyed the demon Mahishasur in a ten daylong battle, the day was known as Vijaya Dashami - the day of victory. This victory is a celebration of good and end of evil era. Shubho Bijoya is not just a traditional greeting, but also a way to celebrate the auspicious victory over evil.
