The rainbow is a natural phenomenon,appearing in the sky, when there has been rain and the sun is shining.

It is in the shape of bow and arch,the two ends bending towards the horizon.

                                        COLOURS

It is of beautiful colours,the seven colors,Voilet, indigo,blue,green,yellow,orange and red appearing in the fine-graded tints upon it.

It does not stay long in the sky but disappears quickly.

According to the Bible,it is the sign of covenant between God and man that was made after the deluge.
