Writing small articles will not help much in earning buzz.

The top ten in the leader board on bitlanders - take a look at their works - their blogs- you will notice that they have put in a lot of time and hard work behind each blog they wrote. I am not saying that you should be an expert enough to write a blog on scientific research or other tough subjects. You can write a simple essay on local tourist spots or top five restaurants in your area. 

The idea is to make the blogs presentable. Insert good, original images that you yourself have taken which relates to your content in the blog. 

Space sentences and make it readable. Include lists or bullet points if you like. 

It is as easy as that. Also, check your article for grammar mistakes if any. No one is perfect. I am not.

Daily activity and interaction is also necessary.
