USES OF NUCLEAR REACTORS
1:Nuclear reactors are widely used as sources of great power. They are gradually replacing the more conventional energy sources for the production of electricity.Karachi Nuclear Plant (KANUP)

is an example of converting nuclear energy to electrical energy.Reactors powers some ocean going ship and submarines.
2:Reactors are used to supply neutrons which are of immense importance in nuclear studies and research. Neutrons diffraction is a powerful tool for studding crystals structures.

3:Reactors are used to prepare a large verity of artificial radioisotopes which are widely used in industry medical diagnoses and therapy and agriculture. In fact, the tracer isotope technique are widely used for the study of number of processes in biology, chemistry, physics, archaeology and other branches of science.
4:Nuclear reactors can be used to make fissionable materials from certain non-fissionable but "fertile" materials.
