VISIT TO MUREE HILLS

Posted on at

Travelling is a part of education. I am found of traveling and visiting various places. Vast deserts. Long coasts, high mountains and lush green valleys fascinate my imagination and captivate . My F.Sc examination had ended, and I was enjoying this freedom. A few friends of mine made a programme to go to Muree Hills. We hired a small coaster. We also purchased a few food-items and took a camera with us. It was a bright sunny day of June when we left for Murree. On the way to Mureee we passed through the beautiful hills of Abbottabad. We enjoyed ourselves by singing songs and playing cards. Some of our friends entertained us by their excellent dancing.

In the afternoon we reached Murree. We hired as suite in the Grand Heights and had a shower to refresh ourselves. After relaxing for an hour or so, we change dour dress and went to the Mal Road. People from all walks of life, and all parts of Pakistan were standing at the GPO chowk. It was fun to make our way through so many visitors. Newly married couples hand in hand, hugging each other and giggling together, were the special objects of our attention. We bought coffee and sipped it leisurely. We remained on the Mall for two hours and then walked to the Kashmir Point. Usmania Restaurant and came back to our hotel at 11:30 p.m . We had chat for sometime and then mother sleep took us into her tender lap. It was late the next morning when we got up.

The next day was planned to visit Patriata. We drove to Patriata. It took only half an hour to reach there. Were reached the peak through chair lifts and cable cars. We had our lunch there. It is a fascinating place. We also enjoyed horse riding. In the afternoon we decided to return to our city via Islamabad. After passing a few happy moments in Chhattar Park we were on the way to our destination. We reached our houses quite late at night.

In Short, it was very successful visit. We enjoyed a lot. The scenery around Muree simply allures the eyes. A we-inspiring pine tree fill the visitor’s heart with the grandeur of God A almighty. The scences still haunt my mind.
