Wagamama to stand in for compLexity Gaming

The popular streamer and personality Niklas 'Wagamama' Högström has temporarily joined the American squad compLexity Gaming, replacing their former stand-in DragonFist. This signs the return of the Swedish player in competitive action after almost a year of absence.

The Swedish professional player and streamer Nkilas 'Wagamama' Högström will be making his comeback in professional DotA2, about a year after his last recorded match with his former squad, QPAD Red Pandas. He will be joining the American squad compLexity Gaming, and replace the Canadian player DragonFist who has been playing for the team. compLexity's roster has been rather unstable for the past months, after the injury of their original member Andrew 'Riser' Bronze. With Wagamama in their ranks, the Americans hope to find the chemistry and team spirit they need to get back to solid results.

While he has been away from competitive action for quite some time, Wagamama has gained a large fanbase through his personal stream, as he is one of the top players of the European DotA2 MMR leaderboard. He was also in the casting team for both TI3 and TI4, usually casting alongside Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson. Through compLexity, Högström hopes to return to competitive DotA2 in 2015, but he has yet to officially join a squad. Neverthless, his debut with the Americans was not that encouraging, as they were defeated by Wheel Whreck While Whistling.
