What new image from Game of Thrones Season 6 intrigued fans most?

Last week, HBO released a deluge of images from Game of Thrones Season 6. Which one did you guys find most interesting? Behold:

Almost certainly not. As others have guessed, this is almost definitely a shot from one of the visions Bran will have with his new greenseeing abilities. In A Dance with Dragons, Bran is able to use his powers to look into the past, present, and future of Westeros by peering through the eyes of the country’s ubiquitous weirwood trees. Apparently, the producers decided it would be a little dull to show us flashbacks from the first person view of a tree, so they’ve gone a different route. By the looks of this image, Bran and the Three-Eyed will walk around different points in time and space, unseen and unheard by the people who actually live in that time and space. Basically, I expect it to be kind of like Harry Potter’s experiences with Dumbledore’s Pensieve

Let’s canvas.

Shaenp80: “There’s a decent amount of smoke in the picture of Davos. Looks like it could be a funeral…”
It could be, although other commenters noted that the smoke appears to be coming from another entrance. Whatever is happening in this photo, I just feel sorry for Davos. When he learned about what happened to Stannis and Shireen in the Season 5 finale, his face fell and it broke my heart. Not sure how much more of that I can take.

Firannion: “Tyrion on the wagon is going to be an unstoppable force!”
You know Tyrion’s serious when he’s poring wine into a decanter. He really does seem to have embraced the idea that he can make a positive difference working for Daenerys. This is great news for the character, and terrible news for whoever crosses him.

dwm: “Honestly, I think it would be great for her to forgive him, and for him to remember who he is. After so much torture (to both characters), it would be great for them to bond, in some way. I think that forgiveness would give Sansa the strength she needs; to understand his suffering, how broken he is, yet still risking his life to help her; that is incredible.”
It was rough going watching Sansa’s captivity in Winterfell, but I dig the idea of her and Theon forming a bond.

Ellen: “I know people are trying to micro-analyze the Melisandre pic but I truly don’t see anything. There is a man wearing black on a horse behind her but she’s at castle fricken black there are no shortage of men wearing black…Then there’s the man standing in the background with white hair. He just looks like a wildling, he’s wearing the same boots, to me. And white isn’t necessarily a rare hair color, especially in GOT with all of it’s white haired old men.”
This has been one of the hotly discussed pics, but I agree with Ellen. I don’t think it gives away much, although I am, as ever, wondering what’s going on in Melisandre’s head. She’s good at keeping her face inscrutable, that one.

No one made any comments about this one. I just like the rich detail in the background. I wasn’t sure before, but I’ve decided that Gilly and Sam must be a boat here. Sam is clearly getting ready to heave into that bucket, a feeling familiar to seasickness-prone people everywhere. Also, I hope Little Sam is somewhere safe.

This was a great crop of images. Honestly, I thought they did a much better job of teasing the season than the somewhat anemic Season 6 teaser video. Now bring on the trailer!
