It’s a big day for whatsapp today as finally the web version of WhatsApp which all of us were waiting is finally here! Whatsapp is finally available on your desktops as a web version but only if you’re on an Android or a Blackberry as whatsapp is yet to extend support for iOS versions.        

The new whatsapp for web is just a mirror of what you have on your mobile device. In order to use it, you got to scan a QR Code and you’ll also have to be running on the latest version of Whatsapp. You’ll need to have an active connection on your phone, not just your computer.

WhatsApp founder Jan Koum said that due to “Apple platform limitations”, there’s no iOS version on the way for now.
