According to express tribune's news published on May 20, 2016, "Pakistan has world's weakest higher education system, say QS rankings", being ranked 50, with an overall score of 9.2 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British ranking agency. It was not at all astonishing for university students like me. When some professors themselves promote cramming system by giving all those typical notes which our seniors (and their consecutive seniors too) have MEMORIZED in order to answer the questions (writing same lines as in professors notes to satisfy his standard of giving A grade) asked frequently in past papers... and accepting all COPY PASTE assignments without even checking, authorities not encouraging youth to come forward and express their ideas in research, poor management with lack of equipment for lab practicals, undergraduate students with no or limited opportunities to explore new ventures through scholarships and internships plus government neglecting national investment in higher education... this will be the ultimate result, prophesying our children's future as higher education seekers.
