The report based on a survey conducted in September 2014, from 500 adult internet users in the United Stated.

50.8% say they don't want to receive any marketing communications at all from brands

25.08% prefer to be contacted by email

9.03% like text message

7.14% are fans of snail mail

5.29% prefer social media

3.38% like push notification
