Women in Afghanistan

Posted on at

Twelve years ago, when you entered in one of the cities of Afghanistan, god probably don’t saw more than a dozen women in the city, and women should  cover their whole face and even eyes for the law that was enacted by the Taliban.

If one spot of women face would get out from under the burqa (like marquee) they were severely punished by the Taliban.

Ironically, the Taliban's laws were relevant to Islam, if it does not have any price in Islam.

Islamic scholars have not been any stories of Prophet Muhammad women that were covered such as the Afghan women were covered during the Taliban regime.

During the Taliban, women were deprived of all social matters.

No woman was allowed to leave the house and could not take part in social issues.

The lack of education and training for women and girls were no allowed to go to school and even throughout no a school for women in the country.

But after the September 11 attacks on the United States of America and overthrown the Taliban government, the school gates were opened on Afghan women and girls.

At this time, millions of Afghan girls' were absorbed to schools and start the training.

Women were also active in social issues and able as men to participate in their country's social issues.

After the fall of Taliban rule, Afghan women are now able to participate in political issues as well of their country.

There are now dozens of women in the Afghan parliament, who are represent a large segment of society.

Two Afghan cabinet ministers are women that have been unprecedented in the history of this country.

In other areas of Social policy of Afghanistan, Afghan women have actively participated.

Afghan Women after many sacrifices over the years, now have the ability to fight to get their rights.

Afghan woman who lives now, not woman that lived 12 years ago, that she was spent her whole life in the domestic realm, but someone who understands the rules and fighting with everyone to get her rights.

Although Afghan women have been great achievements during the last ten years, but in all fields have the war continued and insurgent’s activity in areas of the country, threatening the achievements of women.

The Taliban often prevented from going to school in areas that they are operate and do not let women become aware of their rights.

Afghan women have a greater need for the development cooperation of the Afghan government, the international community and particularly the United States of America.

If do not special attention and help with Afghan women, should be As well, the withdrawal of international troops after 2014 will destroy all the gains Political and social issues of Afghan women, and women now in Afghanistan well be like the woman who was confined in the domestic realm, in during the Taliban regime, they will be jailed.
