WWE is working on plans for a multi-week WWE Network series that will focus on lighter weight wrestlers.

While details are still sketchy at this point and could also benixed, the plan is for the show to possibly come out sometime during the summer. They idea is to produce a 10 episode tournament for “unknown” wrestlers that haven’t appeared on WWE or NXT television.

Another idea was to mix “top indie guys” with WWE developmental talents.
