Going to the cinema is expensive, especially if you attend the big multiplexes to watch the latest Hollywood blockbusters. A family of four can expect to pay fifty to hundred dollars to watch a film in the cinema, yet that same family could watch a film in the comfort of their own home via a streaming service for nowhere near that amount of money. Steve and Ben talk about the traditional business model for films being shown in cinemas, and how unless something changes soon, it may become a boutique experience, with most opting for cheaper online streaming services.
