At least 116 people are reported to have feared dead today after an Indonesian air force transport plane crashed into a residential area shortly after take-off in a northern Indonesia.  It was a 51-year-old plane.  Eye witnesses claim that the C-130B Hercules aircraft appeared to explode shortly before it smashed into houses and a hotel. The terrifying accident occurred just after midday.  A probe has been ordered.
