Story of a poor man.

"I was born in a very poor family and nobody even in my distant relatives ever got a degree. It was not my fault that I did not get education but it was the fault of the environment where I was being brought up. I lived around people who never gave importance to education and considered it something that diverts us from religion. It was not my fault. People learn from people around them. If you live in a society where everyone goes to school, you will go to school. If you live in a society where everyone works from an early age, you will not consider education important either. I am late to the learning but I am not ashamed of it. I worked very hard to get the skills necessary to become a jeweler and tried to live in a place where my children go to school. The only language I know is Pashto, I can't even speak Urdu. But my children, they can read and write in Urdu, Pashtu and English! I am so proud. Yesterday, they told me all about the process of precipitation (raining). It is fascinating."
