True Detective

True Detective is an American TV series started and written by Nic Pizzolatto. The series, on air by HBO in the United States, first time premiered on 12 January 2014.

The first season earned superb reviews from critics and manage earned high ratings for HBO. This series won numerous awards, chiefly for its excellent acting, writing, and direction. The second season of the series received generally positive reviews, admiring its acting, cinematography and action, and second season also maintained high viewership for HBO.

Production:

Nic Pizzoolatto:

Nic Pizzolatto was the producer of True Detective Before True Detective, Nic Pizzolatto was serving as a literature professor for the University of Chicago, He delved into fiction writing soon after. His first released work was the short story, which was released in year 2006.

 Pizzolatto felt True Detective was more good enough for on-screen once the setup took definite form. Pizzolatto shopped the modernistic novel to two TV administrator, and, once he capture a deal in May 2010, drafted six plays, including the pilot episode script for show True Detective, which had 90 pages. Soon after he gives another script for the series. By this time, Pizzolatto managed to secured a development deal with channel HBO, and in April 2012, the network assigned True Detective on an order of eight episodes.

 

Filming:

The introductory location for principal photography of True Detective '​s first ever season was Arkansas, but Pizzolatto later decided to opted to film in Louisiana, which was cheaper due to its reasonable film-tax incentive program. Production lasted 100 one after another days. The troop filmed exterior shots of various constructed sets.
City California was as the setting for True Detective '​s elected sophomore season. Producers  backed to avoid filming in Los Angeles and, instead of focus on the more obscure regions of the state to "trapping a certain psycho-sphere ambiance". Finally Production started in November 2014.

 

Opening Sequence:

Led by innovative director Patrick Clair, True Detective '​s title Sequence were developed by a collaborative team based of three motion-design studios: Antibody, Santa Monica-based Elastic and Breeder , both of these based in Australia. For the first season of true detective, Clair and his team took a range of photos of the Louisiana scenery, which plays the role of sequence's backbone. The Sydney Morning Herald combined season one's opening sequence in their list of the "Ten of the Best" title sequences on television.
Clair took a same approach to develop the title sequence for True Detective '​s second season. Production used stuff from a number of photographers, which including aerial shots which was captured by David Maisel. The theme song's lyrics change with every episode of the show, incorporating different verses from Cohen's song.

Matthew McConaughey cast as a first actor of True Detective, who acts as a Detective Rustin "Rust" Cohle. McConaughey came to Pizzolatto's immersion for his performance in the thriller film The Lincoln Lawyer, and was engaged before the series was on-air by HBO.

Season 2:

On 21st January 2014, Pizzolatto signed another two-year contract extension with HBO, season-2 of True Detective consist of 8 episodes, all eight were written by Pizzolatto. this series was directed by several peoples, Justin Lin directed the first two episodes of the series, Cary Joji Fukunaga, who directed all episode of season one, did not return as director, in season-2 he works as an executive producer, as like McConaughey and Harrelson.

Season-1 (2014):

In 2012, two homicide investigators officers with the Louisiana Police's Criminal Investigations, Rustin "Rust" Cohle who act as McConaughey and Martin "Marty" Hart (Harrelson)—are summoned for questioning by detective officers Thomas Papania (Kittles), and Maynard Gilbough (Potts) about the Dora's murder investigation of 1995.

When war veteran Paul Woodrugh (Taylor Kitsch) and California Highway Patrol come to know about a crime scene, it attracts Vinci Police Department Detective officer Raymond (Ray) and Velcoro (Colin Farrell). It Also involved Frank Semyon (Vince Vaughn), a career criminal and entrepreneur, who is married to Jordan (Kelly Reilly).
