Today , March 21 is a japan national holiday . It is a compilation of Japanese national holidays , national observances , patriotic commemorations and important secular events .

 

Vernal Equinox Day ,in Japanese word pronounced  SHUNBUN NO HI  .. This national holiday was established in 1948 as a day for the admiration of nature and the love of living things . 

 

The VERNAL EQUINOX or SHUNBUN NO HI was an imperial ancestor worship festival called  SHUNKI KOREI SAI .

Like other Japanese holidays, this holiday was repackaged as a non - religious holiday for the sake of separation of religion in JAPAN's  POSTWAR  CONSTITUTION .
