80 Hours Crewing part 1

At Staffordshire University in our second year we really need to gain as much experience as possible in the industry as well as working on other course mates films sets. Working on third year films help us to see how they work and how we will work when we get into our final year.

Working on the 3rd year films in my university hasn't only been informative it’s been an amazing experience. So far I have done 30 hours and even though it’s been exhausting it’s been so worth it. Firstly I got asked to do research for 2 students. firstly it was a girls film called KJ and her film is about relationships with humans and animals, after I heard her film idea at the pitch I acted on it as I love animals myself and it is something I’m very passionate about. For KJ's film I did 10 hours research all about animals and their behaviours and how they react and get used to being in human contact. The human-animal bond is a mutually beneficial and dynamic relationship between people and animals that is influenced by behaviours that are essential to the health and well-being of both.  Being an animal lover myself it made sense for me to be part of the research team for her film as I enjoy researching animals and there behaviours etc.
