Hello My name is Gemma Davies i'm twenty one years old student studying film production at Staffordshire university. Before university i fell in love with Media Production at college at age Seventeen and chose to carry on my love for film making at university. for years ive been obsessed with Horror films new and old and that is what i want to get into. Directing and writing is a passion for me and that's what i pursue to be as a career.

 

 

Im a incentive and energetic Director and editor that craves the buzz of film making. taking audiences and controlling the new world that there about to experience makes me feel like I’m a god. With my experience of editing films I love Horror films. My first experience of watching a horror film was the film Scream. This frightened me so much that it turned into the thrill of watching films for the buzz. So I continued. I love the feeling of walking into to a cinema or at home and tuning into a horror film and being in that world. Isn’t this the point of Horror excitement? My dream is to be a part of putting society into a film for an hour and half, and them not even thinking of reality. I look at films by Joel Schumacher, Tim Burton, and Eli Roth

And imagine making films like them, because these are the people I look up to.

 

In my spare time i love to do practice theatrical makeup for films i love getting down with prostetics and special effects. This is one of many skills that i absoloutly love to do. I started off by watching Makeup videos on Youtube and trying them out myself, and i just kept practicing and i still practice today.
