A great answer to the mini ice age and earthquake cluster questions! I couldn't believe it when I read it!

People in the state of California may have felt a little rumbling under their feet this week.  From 7/7/15-7/14/15 there has been at least 1,033 earthquakes registered on the above Index Map, ranging from between a 1 and 3.5 magnitude on the Richter Scale.

As evidenced from above, one of these cluster areas sits directly atop the San Andreas fault.  This may be in response to the movie that recently came out by the same name earlier this month.  Mother Nature certainly doesn’t like to be outdone by CGI.

Of course, there is also the argument that this number of seismic occurrences are fairly normal directly above the San Andreas fault line in any given weekly time span.  The recent Earthquakes in that area are on the higher side of the average, but still fall within normal guidelines.

What is more alarming with the above map, however, are the earthquakes NOT falling immediately on that fault line.

It may seem like a small sliver in the picture above, but we’re talking over FIVE HUNDRED MILES from the fault and the Eastern most cluster.  That’s the distance of a trip between New York City, NY and Boston, MA.  Nearly THREE TIMES.

You may be asking yourself if this new cluster of earthquakes may coincide with the recent news of a mini ice age rapidly approaching Earth.

You’d be validated in asking that question.

The planet Earth has seen some severe weather patterns in the recent years.  Cataclysmic floods, tsunamis, tornados, blizzards and now with recent events, we are also seeing earthquakes.

Where the Earth has seen a warming trend over the last hundred or so years, the sun is actually in the middle of a cooling trend.

Sunspot activity between years past and 2030 will drop over 60% according to recent studies.  The sunspots release solar flares that head toward and heat the earth in small bursts over large periods of time.  If you’re curious as to how this may effect you on a daily scale, put your TV dinner in the microwave and lower it to 40% total power.  After the allotted time, take it out.

If you think it would still be frozen, you’d be 100% correct in that assessment.

This is very worrisome to the nation’s top scientists, as the sun is cooling at a rate much faster than the earth is heating.  At some point the rivers and lakes in the Northern Hemisphere will begin to freeze over permanently and  we will see even more of these earthquake clusters, especially in traditionally warmer or drier climates.

The Earth’s crust is essentially a land mass drifting over what is in most respects, a molten lava sea.  The cooling from the sun mixed with the heating of the Earth due to greenhouse gases creates a volatile combination that is beginning to cause these new earthquake clusters in parts of the United States that have never seen a high volume of earthquakes before.

The California cluster is the first of presumable many of these proposed clusters.  The large swath of primarily inactive seismic area in the Midwest may soon give way to this cooling and heating trend that take out cities such as Oklahoma City in activity they have never seen before.

Scientists have likened the phenomenon to throwing a full-sized, frozen turkey into a commercial grade fryolator.  The volatility of the melted oil will suddenly explode upon impact from the frozen turkey.  It is why safety and common practices outline thawing the turkey to room temperature far before ever placing it into a rapid cooking device such as a fryolator.

Once the heating and cooling trends begin to affect the new swaths of previously unaffected seismic areas, they will begin to break apart continents, create new mountain ranges, and provide catastrophically imminent casualties for any residents in the affected areas.  Unfortunately for the people residing in these areas, we can’t heat up the sun, and we can’t cool down the Earth.  This volatility is an uncontrollable.

There is nothing scientists can do at this point to stop the cooling of the sun.

If only we had seen that this was a problem in the past, could we have reduced the amount of devices that drain the sun’s power, or lessen its solar flare activity?  How many calculators did your grade school classroom have?  Were they run on batteries, or did they use solar panels to recharge?

There are nearly 100,000 public schools in the United States.  Say there are approximately 30 kids in each of 10 classrooms you’re talking about 3,000,000 calculators draining energy from the sun every second of every day, from September to June.  Also ask yourself, how many of those teachers are responsible enough to keep the classroom calculators out of the sun’s rays when not in use, or more importantly, overnight.  This doesn’t even touch on the rampant use and even GRANT MONEY available for equipping housing and commercial properties with solar panels and electricity.

We’ve become a world dependent on the energy the sun radiates.  Unfortunately, the ancient sun was never equipped to handle the current load our planet requires on a daily basis.  The sun is unable to readjust and provide more, although the average household is trying to take, take, take.

Think about how many yards in your neighborhood have solar powered lighting lining the walkways.  Who is that benefitting?  More importantly, at what cost?

It is time that mankind stops to think about the impact we have on the world, and the solar system around us.  It is time that we stop being so selfish.
