Banana and chocolate, two favorites of mine. And to complete the picture, in a absolutely delicious ice-cream! This one was made by hand! No ice-cream machine involved...yet :))

Ingredients:
500g peeled bananas
1 tbs lemon juice
110g caster sugar
200 ml double cream
0,5 dl water
50g black chocolate shaves (70% coccoa solids)
Chocolate shaves and chopped hazelnuts or almonds to serve.

Preparation:
*Cut the bananas into pieces and put them into a pan with the sugar and 0,5 dl water.
*Cook in a a low heat until soft and syrupy, about 7 to 10 minutes, stirring and watching.
*Blitz the bananas, scraping the sides of the blender until smooth and add the lemon juice.
*Whipp the cream until fluffy but still soft and fold in the banana purée.
*Add the chocolate shaves and mix.
*If you have an ice-cream machine, put the cream inside and follow the manufacturers instructions, if you don´t have one, put the cream inside a bowl, cover with clingfilm and put it into the freezer. 1 hour latter, mix the ice-cream to break the ice crystals on the surface.
*Freeze.
*1 hour before serving, take the ice-cream out of the freezer to soften a bit.
*Serve the ice-cream with chocolate shaves and chopped hazelnuts or almonds.
