When I went for these earphones, I was passed up how well they fit what I needed in an earphone. I listen to a considerable measure of substantial beat music (i.e. hip-bounce, techno, and so forth.) and these earphones can't be beat as far as sound if those are your tastes. The bass and low mids come in hard and smooth sounding (not crackly or essentially excessively uproarious), and the treble and upper mids come in clear. I have sets of on-ear sennheisers that have the melodic clarity that I needed, however fail to offer the pounding bass I was searching for. These earphones were apparently the solution for my and all bass-significant others petitions to God.
