he state government Bihar in India has banned the sale of absolutely any type of alcohol, both Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and country liquor with effect from Tuesday. The decision on the ban on any type of alcohol was taken on Tuesday afternoon by the Bihar cabinet, four days after a ban began on the production and sale of country liquor in the state. Bihar thus becomes the fourth dry state in the country after Gujarat, Kerala and Nagaland.
