Bollywood actor Salman Khan was accused of killing a blackbuck and a chinkara in 1998. He was sentenced to 1 and 5 years in jail in the two cases by a lower court in Rajasthan. The actor had appealed to the Rajasthan high court challenging a lower court's verdict. The high court completed hearing the cases in the last week of May but the final verdict was declared today. It was a huge relief for Bollywood actor Salman Khan as the Rajasthan high court on Monday acquitted him in both the Jodhpur blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases.
