CALBIGA, Samar is home to the largest cave system in the Philippines. This underground complex, comprising 12 caves, is spread over 3,000 hectares of land making it one of the largest in East Asia. The main feature of this cave complex is the Langun-Gobingob Caves, which have been explored by local and international cavers for their massive rock formations, including giant columns and draperies studded with mineral deposits that glitter in the light.
