A wildfire in the Solimar Beach area of Ventura County in Southern California has burned about 1,200 acres of land, forced the closure of parts of the 101 highway.  The fire started at around 11 pm local time on Friday, and strong winds and dry vegetation caused it to grow rapidly. No injury or casualty has been reported but people have been evacuated to safe places.  More than 600 firefighters were at the scene to battle the blaze but the fire has not yet been contained.
