Captain of Azad Hind Fauz(Indian National Army)

Abbas Ali Captain of Azad Hind Fauz Abbas Ali has died. He was 94 years old. He was born on 3rd January 1920 at Khurja of Bulandshahar district. He had been close to Ram Manohar Lohia in independent India. He was inspired by revolutionary idea of Bhagat Singh. When he was in high school , he joined Bharat Sabha organization created by Bhagat Singh. During his studies in Aligarh Muslim University he met with Kunwar Asharaf Muhammad and joined All India Students Federation. In 1939 he joined British Army. In 1945 when on invokation of Subhash Chandra Bose he joined Indian National Army and left the British Army, then British rule announced death sentence for mutiny against British government. But after independence of India , Indian government announced him not guilty and acquitted from all charges. In 1948 he came close to Acharya Narendra Dev, JP Narayan and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and he joined movement organized by him. In 1967 he has been played an important role. From 1948 to 1974 he has been sent in jail for more than 50 times due to involvement in many movements
