Google project is claimed to be able to analyze and identify the unit of food items in the photo, then immediately pass judgment on calories. However, if the assessment was wrong, users can reveal such errors in the application.

It's that indicate Google is interested in acquiring DeepMind valued at 242 million euros, to obtain patent or artificial intelligence development company which has developed a system of food analysis technology through photos.

Actually, this is not the technology was first introduced by the developer, before there is another calorie counter application that was developed in 2011. The first application known as Meal Snap is a promising ability to count calories, but unfortunately constrained applications with handling different food portion sizes.

Unfortunately, resources did not specify whether Google's latest application named IM2Calories is available for various platforms. Although some people believe that the company will provide a first for Android.
