Democracy or Dictatorship?

More or less everyone believes in democracy as this the system in which people are given the right to vote to choose their representatives who will be answerable to them. One can criticize the Governments' policies and Government is answerable to the people for their every single act.

The civilized democracies of the world gives right to informations to their people so that their money being spent must be in their knowledge.Pakistan doesn't have such type of system.People don't know how and where their money is being spent, that's why corruption is rising day by day.So we see that the Metro Bus project in Islamabad costs 40 million rupees while according to the Asian development bank it has to be completed in 8 million rupees.

In Pakistan, people have the right to vote but everyone has doubts whether their vote counts or not, because unfortunately, throughout the history of Pakistan not even a single election was transparent. In every election, fingers were raised on the transparency of the elections. In the civilized democracies, doubted election is never accepted. We have example of America in which election results were stopped due to the rigging allegations. Now,even in Afghanistan, election is being audited, but Pakistan has no such system.

Democracy gives right to protest, but we have seen in the recent past that characters like Gullu buts have been launched by the democratic government to disperse the peaceful protestors.

In a city like London, you have to take citizens and their representatives into confidence if u even wanna make a simple bridge, but unfortunately in Pakistan, our Government starts Metro Bus Project in Isb and Rwp,and no people's representatives were taken into confidence. After the work on the project was started then they came to know.Government starts operation in north Waziristan but the Ruling party of the province which is badly suffering the outcomes of this operation was not consulted before starting the operation.

Two families are the ruling families of this country, and after fathers their children are ready to take the front seat,no democracy in the parties is observed.

So I'm confused whether we r "suffering" democracy or dictatorship?
