PTI and PAT are in red zone now.Police and army didn't resist.Govt is trying to negotiate with the both parties.Qadri is not willing to negotiate with the negotiating team made by govt,instead he just want to negotiate with the govt itself.Whereas,Imran khan says,only after the resignation of PM,PTI will negotiate.
Dr.Qadri is a religious scholar so he has his followers of particular belief.So they are following him as one follows any saint,and they will always.But Imran khan doesn't have such type of following,People voted for him in general elections for the first due to his charismatic personality and his cricketing background.He is the founder of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and NUML University.So after general elections people expected so much from him.A person who did this much for the country without having any power can do much more than this while in power.
PTI is neither a religious party nor an linguistic /ethnic party.People of all languages and ethnicities came under the flag of PTI.So that was a good sign for PAkistan as no other party could have united the people from all ethnicities and religions.
People who never thought politics a good thing and a gentleman's profession joined PTI.So PTI and Imran Khan has a great team which can't be compared with any other party.
But Imran Khan turned his political party into a pressure group by so many protests and sit ins after general elections.And now it's been the 7th day of his protest against a rigging which started from a long march and now been transformed into a sit in in front of Parliament House.
In these days,Govt's role is appreciable as they didn't use force against the protestors.Entrance of the protestors was forbidden in the red zone but when Imran decided to enter no resistance from the authorities was seen.
There are so many possible scenarios for coming days.The first one is,PM resigns and an interim setup is made,then electoral reforms and midterm elections.The second one is,army intervenes and marshal law is implemented in the country.
In the first case,there is no possibility of wining of pti in midterm elections as due to his politics of protests and resignations majority of the people are taking him as non -serious.
In the 2nd case,if army comes into power Imran khan's politics will come to an end as no dictator is accepted anymore in the country.
So in every case,loss is of Imran Khan and PTI.
