War Of Egoes.....

Posted on at

Government's negotiating team has accepted 5 demands of PTI out of 6.The 6th demand is of Prime Minister's resignation so government is reluctant to accept this. All the opposition parties except PTI have passed the vote of confidence in parliment.

In the last meeting of negotiating teams,PTI presented a better solution that prime minister should go on leave just for 30 days and in this period the vote audit and electoral reforms should be done, and if rigging is not proved on large scale the seat of prime minister is of Nawaz Sharif. But the Government's team refused to accept this demand in any case.So a deadlock is seen in negotiations.

Now it has become a war of egoes.Imran Khan after so many aggressive speeches and bold stance can't take his demand back, and Prime Minister will never like to surrender to Imran Khan.

But the questions are,why Imran Khan is demanding Prime Minister's resignation and not the dissolution of assemblies. If PM steps down, any other from his party will take the seat, what difference will it make?

The demand of PM's resignation is not unconstitutional, and to go on leave just for thirty days is a reasonable demand,so why don't the PM accept this demand?

No seriousness is observed from both sides yet to solve this crisis.Opposition always remains aggressive,it is the role of the government to cool down the environment like the elder of a family.Pmln should recall the memory, listen the speeches of Shehbaz Sharif and other PMLN leaders against the PPP govt, and the language used against the then president of Pakistan.By giving aggressive statements on tv against Imran Khan and PTI will only worsen the crisis.

And if Shehbaz Sharif can take resign from Rana Sanaullah on Model Town Incident until the inquiry of model town incident is completed ,then how the demand of resignation from PM just for thirty days is unreasonable and unacceptable?

It seems like, now it's the war of egoes. No one likes to surrender. But one thing is clear,in the war of egoes usually the country suffers and loses.
