Difference Between Personal Chief And Private Chief

                      Everyone who wants to be a chief should have the quality to serve others with their food requirements. This is a profession that demand’s full dedication to satisfy the clients or customers. Cooking is an art in itself but cook up to client’s need is a challenge. Chiefs are those professionals who are master in cooking. Generally chefs start their training and education in the culinary school or culinary art Degree College. And after completing their studies they start their careers in hotels or restaurants. One can enjoy the services of chief in their homes. Personal Chief and Private Chief are those who provide their services in client’s home. 

PERSONAL CHIEF

Personal Chiefs are those chefs who prepared plate specific meal as per the need of their client. When personal chief is hired the menu and a budged is given to the client for approval. Personal Chiefs cook in client’s kitchen or off site kitchen as the instructions given by the client. In most cases chief leave the food in package containers or freezer with preheating instructions for the client to enjoy it later. Personal Chiefs are usually hired for dinner parties or some other special events. Personal Chiefs are hired by a number of clients in a week. That’s the reason that a personal chef should have a wide knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. This is a unique profession from other catering profession because they use client’s kitchen and purchase groceries same day and cook as the needs of client. Generally personal chiefs have the experience of working in hotels or restaurants. Sometime they take this profession of personal chief for extra income. Personal Chief makes a between $200 and $500.  It allows them to run their own business with flexible working and also give them professional development opportunities. Personal Chiefs also provide the services of staff to serve the guests and to clean up the kitchen. 

PRIVATE CHIEF 

Private Chiefs are those chefs who are hired by one client. These are chiefs who generally cook three times a day for families. They provide fresh food to eat. Usually they live in the home of client. They get salary on monthly or weekly base as decided. Private Chiefs are full time chef and responsible for preparing and cooking for the members of household. They also purchase grocery for their client. Private Chief should aware of likes and dislikes of their employer. Private Chiefs are hired on referral bases or meeting in restaurants with potential client. In short we can say the duties of private chief depend upon as what has decided between employer and chief.
