El Paradero de Antonia (Antonia´s Way)

Hello

Before starting a new filmic process, we want present was last production called "El Paradero de Antonia". It's a short film we made in 2009, where we mix documentary aspects, embodied in fiction.

The story is based on a true story of a mother who hanged himself because the government would remove his daughter, and send her in a orphanage. The mother was a thief of supermarkets place to survive, even was in jail. With this story, we start us creative process.

Knowing different homes for orphans, we find a world in Valparaiso which is not seen in tourist postcards.

In the history of Chilean cinema, there is a film that talks about the situation of orphans in Valparaiso, in "Valparaiso, mi amor" Aldo Francia, a film of the sixties. This led us to the following question: After 40 years, How is this problem still exists?

In the Francia film, he show us the situation of child prostitution. Knowing prostitutes and transvestites, some began when they were young. And children who are lost, are seldom found eventually.

This is us story. A story about us, is a latinoamerica story.

Very soon we will upload the full film.
