Episode 1-5: Philly Cheese Streak: Hash House Running!

Hashing is a time honored tradition, started by British soldiers in Kuala Lumpur; it’s known as “a drinking club with a running problem”. Runners follow a ‘hare’ (or lead runner) from bar to bar, and follow the clues that the hare leaves to get them racing on to the next. Running and Drinking! Jimmy signs Mark up for a Philadelphia Hash with the Fishtown Beer Runners without telling him. Strap on your trainers as the hilarity ensues, with stops at McGillin’s Old Ale House, National Mechanics, and Moriarty’s Pub, three of Philly’s oldest bars. Will they make it to the finish? Does a cold beer soothe sore muscles as well as an ice pack? Will Mark join Jimmy for the run, or will he just take a series of cabs? On your mark, get set...
