Ethiopia in the new era of development

Posted on at

Ethiopia is a developing country found in East Africa currently  strives on the way of renaissance and development in economical, political and social matters.Within the last five years, the economical growth increases in two digits which reaches up to 11.4%.many infrastractures ahave built and still there are more projects to be completed in the next five years. In these years, projects starting from the smallest ones to the largest are on the way of completition including the grand renissance dam and the railway construction.Eventhough life becomes harder day to day,the government of Ethiopia has implemented great and effective ideas and strategic goals  whiich complies with the Millenium development goals set by the UN.

The other thing that the government of Ethiopia has been doing a lot is in the sector of distributing small and medium sector works by refunding millions of Birr to  minimize the level of unemployment and rate of expensive life  standards. However, the population growth is still dramatically moves up and there should be something done to level it down otherwise the transformation and development goal may not be achieved precisely.

The other thing that I have seen a progress is in educational matters. Before 22 years, the total number of primary and secondary schools was very limited and only two universities were there i.e,Addis Ababa university and Alemaya university. But now there are thousands of primary and secondary schools and more than 33 universities are on teaching levels. These greatly increases the access of getting quality education at the defined age of learning that positively affects the generation by educating and reflecting knowledge throughout.

Generally,Ethiopia has a nice standard of development except some challenges and I hope this country will be one of  the middle economic level countries of the world.
