Fidel Castro dies at 90.

 Fidel Castro, the revolutionary Cuban leader and one of the Communist icons ever born died on Friday at 90.  Born in 1926, Castro successfully overthrew the then Cuban dictator by guerrilla warfare in 1958 and became the country's new leader. His communist domestic policies and military and economic relations with the Soviet Union led to strained relations with the United States. In 2008, Fidel Castro handed over power to his brother Raul Castro due to ill health. Though a dictator, he was a charismatic leader
