History (A Political Indoctrination)

History as we know it is a record of past events and occurances. It has always been recorded by mankind. These history recording personals always came from an origin and had a history of their own. This makes them completely biased. Those who recorded history had personal likes and dislikes. There fore the history recorded by them stand unreliable in light of this fact.

In early times people recorded events and important advancements in the form of pictures, as man progressed they began to write it on paper and there were times when the royal families  had hired their own historians. There we can locate the roots of political indoctrination of history. Every king and every royal family would only let the historians record their good deeds and turning a blind eye upon the bad ones. This biased history is now a part of our libraries in the form of books. Each historian had his own perspective of viewing things.

In this modern world the kingdoms are replaced by countries and governments. But still we suffer this history issue. History is a basic subject taught to every student right from the beginning of his educational career. But the history taught to him is a reflection of the country's political and global preferences. Truth is hidden from us to make us believe that our ancestors did everything very good. Not only political but there is a military aspect to it as well. The history taught  today is an integral part of the political and military doctrines, making us believe the views of few selected ones.

My point is that what ever recorded in the past is now an asset for us and everyone should be let to know the truth not the forged and misinterpreted text books of history.
