IELTS Stands for UNTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM.  Test is done by BRITISH COUNCIL and AEO (AUSTRALIAN EDUCATIONAL ORGINIZATION)

Test is of 2 types, one is Academic IELTS for those who wants to study abroad and the other one is General type which is for immigration purpose.

In this test we get score in terms of bands , the highest is 9 bands .

IELTS test has four parts listening , reading, speaking and writing . 

In LISTENING part they play an audio and you have to listen it carefully and answer the question given on sheet . one has to be so quick and pick answer while conversation is going on.

In READING part they give wriiten passages ,one has to read and find out answers of questions given on sheet. There are variety of  questions like giving headings to the paragraph and in which paragraph the central idea is given .

In WRITING skill test they ask to write a letter and an Essay on any topic given.letter should be of 150-200 words and essay should be of 250-300 words.

In SPEAKING test their is a examiner who ask you questions like to introduce yourself and give you a topic to speak for fee minutes.

Best way to prepare for test is to listen audios and practice alot okus be tricky and speedy .
