Impact of Energy crisis on Pakistan Industry

Posted on at

Energy plays important role in every field of life. Energy is needed in the industrial sector for production. Energy is the key factor of production. Presently Pakistan is facing severe energy crisis, due to this severe energy crisis every field of life is badly effected.

This crisis is very much severe in the peak season, like the summer season. The production is decreasing very sharply, especially the textile sector of Pakistan is badly effected. Due to this energy crisis, majority of Pakistani Businessmen are shifted their capital to Bangladesh and India. Due to this capital flight the production of textile sector is badly effected. Pakistan's exports are decreasing day by day.

In the peak summer season, the short fall of electricity becomes very much high, which effected every sphere of life. The students cannot prepare themselves for the examination as due to high temperature and in the absence of electricity. In the winter season there is a gas shortage.

There is a need to work for the betterment of this sector and work on war footed bases to cater this problem. The supply of the energy is not according to the demands of the nation. Population of the country is increasing at a very rapid rate, in order to cater the needs to the population, small projects should be launched immediately and big projects like dams are constructed.

Pakistan is a nuclear power state, so the Government should think that the needs of people should also be fulfilled. if the matter is not taken seriously the problem should get worsen in the coming days as the population is growing very rapidly.
