My favourite contemporary artist / Pre-Raphaelite style painter is John William Waterhouse.His works are so impressive.He is a perfectionist in human anatomy.We cannot see errors in proportions.He has shown the mood of the subject character so naturally in all his paintings.

 

To honour him i have made his portrait in digital.Same is shown below.He depicts the women characters from greek mythology so lively with natural colours & ofcourse with extreme perfection in anatomy & mood.He never compromised in showing the realistic colours of furnitures ,robes ,flora and fauna around the character.

 

Im very much impressed by the way he paint the characters with an antique touch.Everyone can get nostalgic feel seeing his paintings.I have tried to make one of his painting called "The Shrine" in digital technique,his own painting is also shown below.

Though he was not recognized or rewarded well like other masters during his period,he is the best for me ever.
