Literacybase and IP addresses

Posted on at

Grecy Garcia is one of my favorite Philippines writers in Literacybase.

She faced the problem of not able to login twice already.  The reason is that many people shared the same IP address with her.

That is a common problem not only in Philippines but in all parts of Asia.  That is why we face slow connection.

When 10 persons in the region use the same network, everyone has slow connection.

The problem happens when someone using the same IP address as Grecy joins Literacybase, and starts to plagiarize our posts, the Support has to ban that person.

He also takes the action of banning the IP address.  As a result, the plagiarist and Grecy both cannot login.

I believe that Support does not understand about the shared IP address matter in Asia.

When AdGoggleKo uses her social networks to get traffic, there are multiple hits from the same IP addresses for this reason.  Support raises the concern.  He thought that someone wants to help AdGoggleKo gets more views, so they click on the same link several times.

The real reason is that there are multiple users in the same region who share the same network.

I think Support in Literacybase is finally getting the idea after Grecy Garcia cannot get in twice.
