Posted on at

It was Steamed that is why I called it No Bake Banana Cake

Ingredients: Good for 4 Persons

3 pcs. Saba Banana (Cardava/Sweet Plantain) -Mashed the 2 pcs. while slice the other 1 diagonally

1 whole Egg -beaten

1 cup all purpose Flour

1/2 tbsp. Baking Powder

3/4 cup Sugar

1/2 cup of Milk- I used Bear Brand Powder Milk mix in 1/2 cup of water

3 tbsp vegetable Oil

A pinch of Salt

Procedure:

1. Mix all the dry ingredients like flour, sugar, salt and baking powder, then in separate bowl I mixed the liquid ingredients like the beaten egg, oil, & milk before pouring it in the dry ingredients.

2. After combining the wet & dry ingredients, make sure you mix all well.

3. Get a Baking dish/Microwavable dish or plastic wear container if you didn't have you can use Lanera.

Grease it with oil before pouring the mixture, then cover it with Cling wrap or any clean plastic and seal it with rubber band .

      the uncooked and uncover product

the covered and ready to cook product.

4. Put the Baking dish in wide enough Casserole with Pot Wire Rack, and some water enough to Steam in half an hour or less.

5. After 20-30 mins.check with toothpick if the cake was cook when you jab/impale it on the mixture then it comes out clean the cake was done and cooked.

I put some slices of bananas in the bottom for decoration because I thought it would be nice after tossing the cake when it's cooked but it is nice on the top.

It is delicious, but I think it would be much tastier if I used Lacatan banana and if i add some grated Cheese.

And the cake much nice looking it I put the slices of Banana on Top instead in the bottom.

You can also replace the Banana with other fruits or flavor if you like and some garnishing like Icings.
