Mzaar is a ski range in Lebanon and the biggest ski resort in the Middle East. In the year 1963, the Faraya-Mzaar Tourism and Winter Sports Company was dispatched with Sheik Salim El-Khazen as the main shareholder and financed by financier Joseph Abdo Khoury who later turned into the organization Chairman and General Manager. The organization obtained the admission to manufacture and work ski lifts on terrains having a place with the Kesrouan region districts. In 1965, the Mzaar-Kfardebian Hotel opened its entryways, and the organization introduced the first Chairlift on the Jabal Dib Hills.
