An impressionistic journey through time and space with sound design by The time travellers (Claudia Tomaz and Kevin Walsh) using unreleased music by Full Moon Scientist and Wlad Ighetto a hip hop band from Fes. NIGHTS focuses on the banality and brutality of everyday life of a heroin addicted couple; set in lisbon's slum 'Casal Ventoso' (now destroyed). In NIGHTS a simple story turns into a raw and chilling film, a fiction shot as a documentary.

The film was awarded in Venice International Film Festival (2000) with The best film of the Critics' Week. Shot in DVcam, final copy: 35mm - 73min
