Non-touristic Prague, Canvas Cross, Czech musicians on Film Annex

Posted on at

The past week I spent in the heart of EuropeCzech Republic, Prague.

Grateful and peaceful European country with 12 UNESCO monuments

It was my second time in that country, but at this time I discovered something new, something what I call “true Prague”, something, what usually tourists wouldn’t able to find by themselves.

As a musician, I was interested to watch local music non-touristic places. My old university friend Kostya, who lives in Prague brought me to the club called “Canvas Cross”.

It was a huge uniquely designed multicultural center located in the center of Prague Holešovice. A very unique club with many unusual artefacts. Its Futuristic fascinating design gives the place unusual face.

Original music only!

Here you will not hear any remixes or copied mixes. All the DJs play their own music only. Many different dance-floors with unconventional music genres in both: live and electronic styles.

I had a conversation with dj Chik, a talented young musician who plays Dubstep (I’m planning to write more about him soon).

There are a lot of interesting things! I was surprised to see a lot of very young ppl, especially girls (the minimum age to enter the club is 18, but usually security don’t check IDs)

Another thing is in Czech clubs, beer is much cheaper than water :)

It was a short review about my trip. I hope to see new Czech FilmAnnexers, cause I had a chance to present the platform to some talented musicians there, and I hope you will enjoy their content soon).

Be positive and have a nice week,

Na zdravi,

FK
