I'm writing blog for the very first time in my life.I don't even know what is the meaning of blog.topic randomly came in my mind and i start to write about the complicated journey of Pakistan.
Pakistan was 8th ranked team when they reached London for the tournament Champions Trophy.
- In the beginning of the year Pakistan had the plan to visit Zimbabwe for the bilateral series but on that time Pakistan was in very dull situation because they were low ranked team and also the date for qualify to CT 17 was very near. Pakistan was 8th ranked and had a fear on that time that if Pakistan lose a single match then may be they could not get qualified for CT17 so they cancelled Zimbabwe tour and later on qualified for the tournament.
- In the first match they lost as expected against Arch Rival India. This was the moment when everyone critisized pakistani team and management. But Pakistani team took everything in a positive way and in the next match they thrashed the number one side on that time South Africa and also won the decider against Srilanka and qualified for the Semi final...No one was expecting this sort of dominance suddenly by Pakistani team. They were against hot favourite England the home team in the Semis . Everyone was talking that England gonna win this easily but who was expecting that Pakistan will win this match single handed and qualified for the Finals for the first time in Champions trophy. And guess what what were they up to? India..... yes..... they had to face India again in the Final. The ground of Oval beem set to host this mighty clash. Both teams were in hot form. Every one was expecting a close contest but wait....what...... the team India who won the group match against the same team by 124 runs is beated by the same team by 180 runs
